As we’re set to bask in temperatures of up to 30 degrees over the next two days, it’s time to reach for that bottle of sun lotion. But do you get more by buying premium brands and more expensive products?
According to a Which? Survey carried out earlier in the year, the answer is a resounding no. Some of the biggest names such as Piz Buin failed the Sun-Protection Factor (SPF) test, which means the level of protection was actually lower than claimed on the bottle.
So which brands did pass the test with flying colours? Here’s our round-up of the four best sun lotions that offer great value for money, whilst providing the protection they promise.
