In the final countdown to Christmas it’s time to dust off last year’s novelty jumper or treat yourself to a new one.
First things first, it’s time to establish that these jumpers are definitely not of the ‘vintage trendy’ kind, so if you’re trying to look good you’ll need to look elsewhere. If you’re after something that should silence a room, these should be right up your street.
Elf Christmas Jumper - £9.99 (was £14.99)
Confession time – Elf is our favourite Christmas movie so this little gem had to take top spot. Made in cotton and available online at New Look, it’s got a great printed front and a plain back.
There’s nothing we’d change and you can team it up with some skinny fit jeans to complete the look.
Santa Suit Christmas Jumper - £12.50 (was £24.99)
Why buy a Santa suit when you can get the look for a fraction of the cost with this Christmas jumper from Amazon.co.uk.
Printed with the classic red Santa suit on the front, buttons have been added on rather than printed to add a bit of texture. It’s not going to win you any style awards but then proper Christmas jumpers aren’t about this.
Penguin Christmas Jumper with Hood - £16.99
Stand out even more from the crowd (like you’d actually want to!) by mixing it up with a Christmas jumper complete with hood.
This isn’t your standard hoodie and shouldn’t drive fear into old ladies – you can even blag that you’re the double for John Lewis’s Monty the Penguin. Available from multiple sellers at eBay, it’s by far one of the most original we’ve found during our hunt.
Tesco Value Christmas Jumper - £18.99
Put simply this is the best way to show exactly how tight you are when buying a Christmas jumper and that you’ve opted for the budget option. The ironic part is that out of all of the budget jumpers we found, this is the only one which is hand made. Who’d have thought?!
Available at Etsy, it uses the latest print technology which means the print won’t crack and you can wear it year after year. Oh the joy!
