The Summer Holidays are coming to a close and it’s that time again when you’ve got just a couple of weeks to get a mountain of back to school supplies for a new term.

Rubbers, rulers, uniforms, lunch boxes…the list always feels never-ending. Then there’s the pleas for you not to buy just any old pencil case – it has to be the ‘cool’ one that everyone must-have.

Argos – 50% off Back To School Promo
When it comes to shopping online it’s worth starting with the big boys who have the biggest purchasing power at suppliers, driving the prices down. Argos is a great example, with a whole category of special Back to School promotions on everything from USB sticks to Crayola pencil sets.

Until the 9th September you can get up to 50% off with the big Argos Back To School promo, with a further 20% off on school uniforms when you use ‘SCHOOL20’ at the checkout.
 

Staples – Half Price on 100s of lines
Next up we’ve got Staples. It should be your first stop for stationery supplies and in the 2014 Back To School promotion you can choose across 100s of different products from just £1.

They’ve also stepped it up a gear this year with a Back To School competition being run until the end of September. Prizes include bundles of art supplies from big brands like Crayola and Stabilo (the only thing better than discounted back to school stuff is when it’s totally free!).

Start-rite – 30% off Plimsolls
Family favourite Start-rite is running a great promotion throughout August, offering a 30% discount on plimsolls when you buy a pair of kids’ shoes.

Apple Store – Free Vouchers for Students
For older kids (well young adults), the best deal we’ve found is from the Apple Store.

Buy a Mac and get a free £60 voucher or get a £30 voucher with purchases of an iPhone or iPad. It’s a great deal and works out to be around 8% off the price (think of it as a discount if you like) and for a brand that rarely drops the price, it’s worth snapping up.
