Get those winter boots ready

Get those winter boots ready
December 06, 2012

It’s getting colder each day and winter is firmly setting in as snow falls on parts of the country. Luckily for us we’re wrapped up warm today in the office with little thought of venturing outside for a while! If nothing else the cold weather is a good excuse to add to the winter wardrobe, more gloves, scarves, winter jackets and not forgetting a pair of boots to avoid any tricky situations in the ice and avoid embarrassment!

We’ve just launched an exclusive voucher code for Rubbersole which enables you to get 20% off when you spend over £125 online. This covers everything online which means 20% off your favourite set of boots so it’s even more of an excuse to treat yourself.

Our favourite boots at Rubbersole.co.uk

For women:

UGG Australia Bailey Button - £140 (after 20% discount)

We love the Bailey Button due to the extra detail on top of the Classic design, with the lambskin protruding at the top it gives them more of a polar look that looks great with leggings or skinny jeans.

Sorel Caribou in Black or Brown - £110 (after 20% discount)

This looks much more like a winter boot which is no surprise as it originates in Canada. It has a tough protective shell with heel snow protection, and most importantly an anti-sliding sole (no more ice moments in front of strangers!). Sorel also guarantee the boots to be waterproof so you won’t need to worry about walking into the office with wet socks after a play in the snow – if we get any!

For men:

Timberland Icon 6” Rust Boot (£120 after 20% discount)

Every guy should have a pair of Timberland boots – perfect to wear in the winter with jeans and a smart jacket. We love these Icon boots because they’re a darker shade than the classic Timberlands, and like the name suggests have a rusty colour. They’ll give you the grip when you need it on the ice without having to revert to full on snow boots.

Red Wing Classic (£184 after 20% discount)

These aren’t a cheap pair of boots and are verging on a trainer like sole but we think they’ll just about give you enough grip in the snow. We had to include them as they don’t look as chunky as other boots and will look like part of your everyday wardrobe.

The 20% discount can be found on the Rubbersole voucher code and discount page.
