Amazon Christmas Gift Guide for 2014
By Chris Perrett December 01, 2014

Following on from our picks of Christmas gift ideas from IWOOT, we scoured through the Amazon Christmas Shop to hunt down unusual presents for Christmas this year.

For Tech Lovers: Jawbone Wristband - £89.99 (usually £124.99)
Jawbone Wristband

Wearable technology is gripping the nation as smartphones become increasingly clever at tracking everything from movement to recording data transmitted by wireless devices.

The UP24 by Jawbone is one of these devices, allowing the wearer to monitor activity, as well as sleep patterns. It’s not a cheap gift priced at £99.95, but it does pack a lot in and is one of the best in it’s class. The activity tracking will also appeal to anyone looking to get fit in 2015, providing a breakdown of total steps, distance covered and even the calories burned.

For the Metrosexual: Penhaligon’s Blenheim Bouquet After Shave Balm - £29
Penhaligons After Shave Balm

For guys who love to take care of themselves you can’t go wrong with anything within the Penhaligon’s grooming range. This luxury brand gets it right every time and it’s Blenheim Bouquet After Shave Balm makes for a fantastic stocking filler.

Guaranteed to help maximum replenishment after shaving, the scent has masculine base notes of pine, musk and black pepper.

For the Fashionista: Dents Women's 7-2378 Gloves - £65
Dents Leather Gloves

Gloves needn’t be boring with these zebra print gloves from Dents. Produced using the softest leather and faux pony skin, they have a knitted lining for maximum warmth.

They’re a great alternative to plain leather driving gloves and are sure to help the fashionista in your life to accessorize throughout our cold winter months.

For the Head of the Family: Family Tree Maker - £22.99
Family Tree Maker

For anyone in your life where family means everything, the Family Tree Maker software for Mac or PC will enable them to build on their passion. It makes creating a family tree easy and then allows family books to be created as an offline record.

Included within the price is a 3-month membership to ancestry.co.uk, so there’s nothing extra they have to pay to get started.

For the Kids: Chill Factor Ice-Cream Maker - £11.15 (usually £14.99)
Ice Cream Maker

We love this ice-cream maker as it should appeal to kids of all ages – who doesn’t like ice-cream?!

The kit makes it easy to create icy treats at home and without the mess. After the ice cream maker is frozen, the ingredients just have to be added and after a little shake the ice-cream is ready. For parents wanting something more healthy, the kit also gives the option to create frozen yoghurt or sorbet.
